Overview

eTrucky's billing covers two separate concerns: the eTrucky platform fee (billed monthly to Admins and paid via Stripe) and payment reports (informational summaries of what each party earns per order). The Billing section is available to Admins only; payment reports are available to Admins, Dispatchers, and Carriers from the Payments view of their dashboard.

The eTrucky platform fee (Admins)

eTrucky charges 2% of each order's Gross (the order rate). The fee is calculated and stored when the order is saved, and it is charged to the Admin account that owns the order. Admins and Dispatchers see the fee as the first row of the order's payments. Orders canceled before they are invoiced are not charged; an order that was already invoiced keeps its fee if it is later canceled. New Admin accounts get a free trial: orders created within the first 60 days after sign-up are free, up to 1,000 orders. On the 1st of each month the Admin receives an invoice for the previous month's orders (plus any earlier orders not yet billed); payment is due within 10 days via Stripe. A billed order's Gross can no longer be changed. If an invoice goes overdue, the Admin account and all of that Admin's orders become read-only for everyone until it is paid. Dispatchers, Carriers, and Drivers are never billed by eTrucky.

Payment reports for Dispatchers

Dispatchers can generate payment reports for any date range — a report is not gated by whether any payment has happened yet. A payment report shows the Bill Amount (broker invoice), Dispatcher Payment, Carrier Payment, and Admin Payment for each order in the reporting period, plus its Delivery and Payment readings. Reports can be exported as PDF for accounting purposes.

Payment reports for Carriers

Carriers can view their Carrier Payment and driver payment breakdown for each completed order. Access the Billing section, filter by date range, and export the report. Your Carrier Payment is the agreed amount set when the order was created; driver payment is set by the Carrier per order in the order edit form.

The Admin payments desk

The Admin runs the payments desk for every order. On the order's edit form, the Dispatcher Payment and TTT (Carrier Payment) rows each carry their own Paid checkbox, beside the amount it records — tick it once that party has actually been paid. The Admin's own payment is recorded differently: select Paid from the Broker Payment Status dropdown on the Bill Amount row instead of a checkbox, since that dropdown already tracks the broker's paperwork for the same relationship. Each is an independent fact; none depends on the delivery reading, or on the others. Once a party's payment is recorded, that order reads Paid to them.
