Overview

Delivery usually progresses Scheduled → Picking Up → In Transit → Delivered, and everyone on the order sees the same value. Anyone on the order can set it, to any status, in either direction. Payment is a separate reading on the same order: it reads Unpaid until the party who pays you records your payment, and then reads Paid. It does not wait on delivery — an order can be paid before it is delivered.

Your assigned loads

When a new load is assigned to you, it appears in your dashboard with Scheduled status. Review the pickup location, delivery address, scheduled date, and any notes left by the dispatcher. All the details you need to execute the delivery are here.

Advancing status step by step

Drivers: the order card on your dashboard shows the next step as one button — Start Pickup when you head to the pickup, Start Transit once the freight is loaded, Mark Delivered when you complete the drop (it asks you to confirm). Everyone else sets the Delivery Status on the Edit Order screen. No step is reserved for one role, and each change is visible to all parties on the order.

Correcting a status

If a status was set by mistake, set it to the right one — any status, in one move, including reopening a Delivered or Canceled order (Drivers can pick any status except Canceled). Drivers use Update Status on the order card; everyone else uses the Edit Order screen.

Adding notes

Use the Notes field on the order to communicate issues — a delayed pickup, an access problem at the delivery address, or additional instructions from the receiver. Notes are visible to all parties on the order and are saved with a timestamp.
